Leading diamond, gem and jewelry wholesaler in NYC searching for a talented and hungry salesperson who seeks a high growth opportunity in one a high energy and luxury work environments in the trade. We require previous experience in the industry and/or a diamond or gem degree from GIA. A positive and engaging personality is a must, as is sales experience and familiarity with crm systems.

The right hire will have experience building relationships with retail stores/designers/e-com retailers etc., selling diamonds/jewelry effectively and continuously achieving sales targets to drive business growth.

This right candidate will not mind a moderate amount of business travel (5-10 days per month all expenses paid) and will be responsible for growing the client base for our B2B wholesale company.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships with customers

- Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the company and its products

- Travel to meet with clients and show our products

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and campaigns

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate the value of our products

- Negotiate pricing with clients

Requirements:

- Proven experience in the diamond trade and sales

- Strong knowledge of diamonds and jewelry

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to travel as required

- Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and operate in an open and fluid environment

- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity

- Polish, poise and determination

Requirements:

• 3+ years of sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven sales track record
• Strong negotiating skills, business acumen and strategic-planning skills
• Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Hubspot, Salesforce or similar CRM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
